The objective of the association is to promote the education of chess among the children in schools and homes in the Winston-Salem area.

Please make a donation:

The Winston-Salem Scholastic Chess Association is working hard to establish a strong chess program in the Triad. At a previous tournament National Master Matt Noble gave lectures to the adults and lessons to the children. We held a public simultaneous chess exhibition with two International Grand Masters. One of the Grand Masters played 38 games simultaneously with adults and children. The other played against four players while blindfolded. Your donation will help make events like this possible and further develop scholastic chess in Winston-Salem and Forsyth County.
